Micha Star Liberty is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She has held the title of President and Vice President of multiple legal and political organizations, expanding her network of associates and resources, which often helps to expedite the legal process for the greater benefit of her clients.
As a lawyer, Micha Star Liberty has worked with trauma survivors for more than two decades, helping them find their voice, assert their rights, and reclaim their freedom. Many of her clients hold their stories close, reluctant to confront the past or reveal their pain. Healing is a unique journey for every survivor and the legal route, while empowering for some, isn’t always the end of recovery for others.
Micha is a frequent lecturer and published author. She owns a law firm, where she represents trauma-victims who have suffered serious injury or abuse, including sexual assault for which she has been widely recognized as a leader in legal and political communities by her peers. She helps both survivors and advocates with strategy, public policy, messaging, and trauma-informed resolution as CEO of The Soaring Center, a wrap-around consulting business. Her business management and training firm, Lionhearted Leader, promotes trauma-informed practices, anti-sexual harassment training, and leadership consulting with the goal of cultivating diverse, equitable, and inclusive work spaces everywhere.
